Street Fighter II

Impossible matchups No. 4 Street Fighter II (SNES) vs. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis) Both came out in 1992 and both got used as the reason to own that console. I grew up in a Nintendo house and never had a Genesis of my own, so the only time I played Sonic was when my aunt brought hers over for a weekend. Street Fighter II sits at number one on my fighting games list and nothing has come close to moving it. Which one was the better 1992 game?

Best and Worst Games I own: 1992 Best: Street Fighter II (SNES) Worst: The Great Waldo Search (NES) Hardest pick I've had to make in this series. Super Mario Kart, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Super Star Wars and Golden Axe II all came out in 1992. Street Fighter II still beats every one of them. The Great Waldo Search is a book you already owned sold to you again for fifty dollars. You drag a magnifying glass across a still picture on a timer, four times, and that's the game. What are your best and worst picks for 1992?

Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat? I rented SF2 from Blockbuster so much it would've been cheaper for my mom to just buy it. What was your go-to fighting game in the early to mid 90s?
