Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Overrated Game of the Day! Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox) Knights of the Old Republic gets universally hailed as the greatest Star Wars game ever made. I just don't see it. It's definitely a top 5 Star Wars game, but that's as high as I'm willing to go with it. I remember playing it 20+ years ago and thinking how good it was. Looking at it now, I think it deserves a remaster. If they kept the same voices and game sounds and only improved the graphics, it would easily be the best Star Wars game made in the last 10 years. A lot of it comes down to the combat system for me. You pick your moves and then wait for them to play out, so it's basically a turn based RPG even though it looks like an action game. Most turn based RPGs don't do much for me. The best Star Wars game will forever be Episode I Racer.

Impossible matchups No. 7 Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GameCube) vs. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox) Both of these came out in 2003 and neither one has anything in common with the other except the year. I've always put Double Dash as the second best Mario Kart ever made, ahead of Mario Kart 64. Which one was the better 2003 game?
