Mega Man 2

Impossible matchups No. 19 The Legend of Zelda vs. Mega Man 2 They came out less than two years apart on the NES, and both get named as 2 of the best games on the system. Which one was the better NES game?

Honest and Unpopular Reviews No. 6 Mega Man 2 (NES) This is the crown jewel of the series for most people and I understand why. The soundtrack is one of the best on the console and the robot master lineup is iconic for a reason. But the closer you look, the more the masterpiece label falls apart. Metal Blade is so overpowered the rest of the arsenal barely matters. Quick Man's stage kills you with beams you cannot see coming. And the Boobeam Trap in Wily's castle is a genuine design failure that forces you to farm weapon energy just to fight a boss. This one asks you to grind for the privilege of finishing it. I rate this one a 3 out of 5.
