3. Mario Kart: Double Dash The second best Mario Kart ever made, behind Super Mario Kart and ahead of Mario Kart 64. Two characters on one kart with their own special items was the only real change the series has ever made to its own formula. Everything about this game worked and Nintendo walked away from it.

Impossible matchups No. 7 Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GameCube) vs. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox) Both of these came out in 2003 and neither one has anything in common with the other except the year. I've always put Double Dash as the second best Mario Kart ever made, ahead of Mario Kart 64. Which one was the better 2003 game?
