Killer Instinct Gold
This is Rare's home version of Killer Instinct 2.
It has the combo breakers and ultras from the arcade, plus a training mode that shows you how to do the combos step by step.
The stages are 3D with a camera that moves around during fights.
7. Killer Instinct Gold, Nintendo 64 (1996)
Everything the arcade version promised, sitting on a cartridge in your living room.
Faster, sharper, and the combos finally land the way they were meant to with the N64 buttons under your thumbs.
Fulgore, Glacius, Spinal, and the best announcer in the genre.
