Influence is not always positive.
Acclaim bought LJN in 1990 and kept putting that rainbow on licensed games for five more years.
Beetlejuice was one of the first ones out the door under Acclaim, and it played like every joke people make about the logo.
Thirty five years later the rainbow is still an insult. That is influence.
