Best and Worst Games I own: 1990 Best: Batman The Video Game (NES) Worst: Mad Max (NES) Super Mario Bros. 3 came out in 1990 and I've already said plenty of times that it's the greatest game ever made, so I'm handing the 1990 crown over to a different game that came out right about the same time SMB3 did: Batman The Video Game. Sunsoft didn't phone this one in the way most licensed games got phoned in. The wall jump is the whole game and it still feels right. The soundtrack is one of the best on the NES. Mad Max is a top down driving game with the worst driving controls of all time. You hunt for gas and ammo in an empty desert and there's no clear objective. I don't remember how I ended up with this one when I was a kid. What are your best and worst picks for 1990?
